Sneh Bhojan – Food Distribution Drive

Purpose of the Event:

Many children in Mumbai struggle daily with hunger and malnutrition, especially those living on the streets. These children are often overlooked, lacking access to basic necessities like food, shelter, and care.
“Sneh Bhojan” is a heartfelt initiative by HNC Foundation to address this hunger crisis by organizing nutritious and hygienic food distribution drives, delivered directly to street children through the efforts of passionate volunteers.

This event is not just about feeding a hungry stomach—it’s about offering dignity, love, and a sense of belonging.

Event Objectives:

To promote community bonding, inclusiveness, and respect for all children regardless of background.

To distribute fresh, nutritious, and hygienically prepared meals to children living on streets, footpaths, railway stations, traffic signals, or slum areas.

To raise awareness about child hunger and malnutrition in urban areas.

To create a culture of youth-led compassion and service, where college student volunteers actively participate in community welfare.

Beneficiaries:

Approximately 200–500 street children and vulnerable kids living in temporary shelters or open areas.
